Finally!

Exclusive: the line-up of 'Congratulations'

For months, it was unsure how the Eurovision Song Contest's 50th anniversary show Congratulations would look like. Today, this comes to an end, as we are in the honourable position to present you a first rough overview of the show's line-up... thanks to an inside source! As the show's final line-up can end last-minute, remember it's a rough, preliminary version.
Opening After the traditional Eurovision-hymne, Cliff Richard will open the show (recorded video message), telling a story about victory and 50 years Eurovision Song Contest. Host broadcaster DR's radio orchestra will play several songs; Congratulations, Ding-a-dong, Abanibi, C'est le dernier qui a parlé qui a raison, Dschinghis Khan and finally... Love shine a light, which seems to be an excellent moment to welcome the show's host, Katrina Leskanich. The songs After a video about 50 winners of 50 years Eurovision Song Contest, Carola (Sweden 1983, 1991) will announce the first of the 14 participating songs in the all-time favourites contest, Congratulations. After the original performance, Sir Cliff Richard will tell a small story and he will announce Massiel (Spain 1968), who will present the second song What's another year. The hosts will announce the third song Diva. Dana International (Israel 1998) will announce the fourth song, Eres tú. After a theme video - we are not going to reveil the surprises - Ein bisschen Frieden will be introduced. Sandra Kim (Belgium 1986) will announce Nel blu di pinto di blu, better known as Volare. The Bobbysocks (Norway 1985) will introduce Waterloo. The performance of the 1974 winner will be combined with a Finnish surprise! After another theme video, the hosts will introduce Fly on the wings of love. Riva (Yugoslavia 1989) will introduce Poupée de cire, poupée de son. After a break, Marie Myriam (France 1977) will introduce Everyway that I can. Sertab (Turkey 2003) will introduce Ne partez pas sans moi. After a special message from Céline Dion, Hold me now will be introduced. Cheryl Baker, one of the members of Bucks Fizz, will introduce Save your kisses for me. Lys Assia, the winner of the first ever Eurovision Song Contest in 1956, will introduce the last Eurovision Song Contest winner My number one. Time to televote! After the 14 songs, the first televoting window opens. After the interval act (another surprise), the first voting ends and a seven minute medley will be performed by Dana International, Carola, Alsou, Fabrizio Faniello, Richard Herrey, Birthe Kjaer and Marie Myriam. After a break, Johnny Logan will take care of another interval act. After the top five has been announced, televoters have 4 more minutes to vote for their all-time favourite. After a second medley, the second televoting window closes and Nicole & Hugo (Belgium 1973) will say a word to the viewers. Ronan Keating will perform and another surprise theme video, the Olsen Brothers will perform a small medley as well. And the winner is... The winner of Congratulations will be known around 23:30 CET, which also marks the end of a memorable show which will most likely exceed all expectations!

Luminita Anghel & Sistem sung together just at ESC 2005

Luminita sing solo

...but Ruslana writes and composes her songs.
if you watch at the clip of Ruslana at ESC 2004 you will see: Ruslana-Wild dances ; Music: Ruslana ; Lyrics: Olexandr Ksenafontov (her husbund and producer)

...but "Let me try" is compose by Cristian Faur (and "Let me try was gived as gift to a romanian singer ELENA CARSTEA .I don't know the reason)

May the best song win --> remember 50% jury; 50% televoting!

My favourite song to win is Greece's winning entry
"My Number One" - Helena Paparizou

As reigning ESC 2005 winner, Helena is privileged enough to perform her song LIVE! at tonight's 'Congratulations' show. And you ALL remember her great and well-choreographed song, not to mention the way she looked on stage, when she won in May, this year ...

We're already proud of you, Helena ...

SEE YOU ALL AT THE ESC 2006 IN ATHENS!!!

Special mention must also go to my other favourite song:
Turkey's 2003 entry "Everyway that I can" - Sertab Erener.

Sertab Erener will defenetly win this contest!!! make as much as comments u like but stop denying the truth, I know that Sertab Erener will not give anyone a chance to win this contest with her great voice and performance also 'Every way that I can' is a wonderful song.
Plus people now keep saying there is a political vote I really dont think this is true, Just because countries like Turkey and Greece is now in top 5 or wins the contest it does not mean its political vote, its because they are coming up with their own style music, which is ethnic music (more modern) and people like this and appreciate it. I think its boring to pertend to make music that doesnt belong to your own country but they do it just to impress Europe. It never worked this way anyway. But now Turkey and Greece realize that they should just enter with their own music to eurovision and this did really work, people paid attention and loved it.
Since the eurovision started there was always nighbour countries how come they never won then? I believe Europe cant take our success and deny all the good things we have.
GOOD LUCK SERTAB!!!! ANOTHER VICTORY WITH THE SAME SONG WILL BE GREAT.

@Stelios Mark,

It seems you are both low educated and stupid at the same time. Thats why I dont see any reason to answer your silly comments. Get a real life man! or go to the doctor!!
I can advise a good one if u are living in Cyprus.

Everyway that I can so annoying!!!!
I am italian and I hope for "nel blu dipinto di blu" but Italy RAI will broadcast the program?? I guess not :-( I like a lot of other songs too! Dana international is ok..but why Chiara is not in the list? I agree Romania 2005 was the best of 2005 and maybe also not only 2005..

No sorry, I wrote wrong. The results are:
1. Waterloo, 390 votes
2. Everyway that I can, 380 votes
3. Eres tu, 374 votes

Björn Lindkvist [29463]

I was at Oikotimes.com and checked the prediction.
1st-Waterloo, 390 votes
2nd-Eres tu, 380 votes
3rd-Everyway that I can, 374 votes.
Nice resuts, maybe a bit suprising that Eres tu lies so high. I really hope Waterloo will win!
