Jury thinks diffenent
Anzej Dežan represents Slovenia!
Anžej Dežan will represent Slovenia at the 2006 Eurovision Song Contest with his song Plan B.
When the eventual runner-up Saša got the maximum from the first group of votes, the telephone votes, it looked like she was going to take the prize, but the professional jury awarded Anžej with 12 points and Saša's song with nul points!
The show was presented by Janez Škof, Aljoša Ternovšek and Boris Kobal, while the interval act was a parody of famous Eurovision Song Contest songs in Slovenian, including Waterloo, Diva and Nel blu dipinto di blu as Fumare (smoke), with a large cigar in the presenter’s mouth.
The scoring for the songs was decided by telephone voters, a jury and mobile phone votes. The award was presented my last year’s winner, Omar Naber. As they failed to qualify for the final in Kyiv, Slovenia will take part in the semifinal in Athens on 18th May.
The results are as follows:
1. Nuška Drašček - Nora sem, da te ljubim -0 – 8 – 3 = 11
2. Natalija Verboten – SOS – 6 -1 – 6 = 13
3. Rebeka Dremelj & Domen Kumer - Noro se ujameva -8 – 2 – 8 = 18
4. Sergeja - Tu da du -0 – 0 – 0 = 0
