No, no never for Texas Lightning
Vicky Leandros: Don't break my heart
Vicky Leandros has been working hard in the studio, and now completed the recording of her contribution for the German national selection for the 2006 Eurovision Song Contest.
The music for Don't break my heart has been written by Vicky herself, whereas the lyrics are written by Alex Geringas.
Vicky: "We have been working very hard, trying to create the right strong pop-ballad for this occasion, and we think that we have succeeded with Don't break my heart. I hope and trust the audience, the tv-viewers and my fans will all approve of our hard efforts".
After her fourth place with l'Amour est bleu (1967) and her victory with Après toi in 1972, Vicky has chosen to present her contribution for the 2006 German national final on 9th March in English.
Vicky Leandros (Don't break my heart), Thomas Anders (Songs that are forever) and the group Texas Lightning (No, no never) will all take part in the German selection for the Eurovision Song Contest 2006 in Athens. During the gala-show Der Deutsche Vorentscheid 2006 - 50 Jahre Grand Prix, from the Schauspielhaus in Hamburg, they will present their contributions as well as perform a cover-version of a well-known Eurovision Song Contest song.
