Mariana Popova

[UPD] Bulgarian rehearsal and conference finished

Moments ago, Mariana Popova from Bulgaria finished her first rehearsal and at this moment, she's giving a press conference, being joined by the complete Bulgarian team, including the 28-year old gay transvestite Azis.

During the rehearsal, when Mariana surprised the present audience with her good voice at this early time of the day, the true abilities of the moving set became clear. Other's, by the way, were less enthusiastic about the voice. "Her voice is simply horrible", a group of fans agreed.

At the press conference, a journalist asked why Mariana picked this particular ballad to submit for the Bulgarian national final. "This song represents me, my heart, my soul. Any other song just wouldn't be me", she said.

Azis, who has a fair solo part in the song, also got some questions from the present press. "There are only a few people who can sing in this ethnic style", he explained. The Head of Delegation added that this type of music comes from a southern part of Bulgaria.

Traditionally, Mariana also performed a part of her Eurovision Song Contest entry Let me cry, meanwhile carrying a huge six-meter Bulgarian flag.
