Problems as Jenny suffers from cold
Customs crisis hits Andorra
Not only is the consignment of press materials and CDs being held by officials, but also the costumes for the performance, including Jenny's dress for the big night. Andorran head of delegation Joan Anton Rechi is hopeful that the situation will be resolved by Monday, but if not, things will be getting extremely tight with the semifinal dress rehearsals round the corner.
Suffering from a cold
Jenny is suffering from a cold at the moment, and explained at today's press conference, wrapped in a pink shawl, that she is not feeling well at all. She is being taken good care of in the meantime, and should be well again in a couple of days. Despite her cough, the Mr. Rechi stated that today's rehearsal was better than ever, and the song is getting stronger and stronger.
Enjoying the opportunity
Asked about her final thoughts before stepping onto the stage, live on Thursday, Jenny said that she will keep in mind that it might be her last big opportunity, and just go out and enjoy it. She was then presented with a glass-engraved gift by Greek OGAE, which she seemed genuinely touched by.
The Andorran singer managed to grin and bear the discomfort of her cold, and treated the press centre to an a cappella chorus of Sense tu with her backing singers, as she walked back to the dressing rooms after the conference.
Hopefully the problems will be sorted soon, and the delegation will be at full force, complete with costumes, by the start of next week.

Thanks for the nice words, Stavros. You are the second person from Greece on this site (the other is Sijune Love) whom I actually can discuss with.
Picture this: A friend of mine, who has lived long years in the States, sits with hsi daugther in a restaurant in Solun (Thessaloniki). They speak in English. The waiter comes with a huge smile and they order, he is endlessly kind. During the conversation, the father and the daughter switch to Macedonian from English. The waiter brings the food and after hearing which langauge they speak in, changes COMPLETELY the expression on his face to nearly angry, and asks them to leave the restaurant. No further comment needed.
Of course, it is not good to base an opnion of a nation on individual examples, but what we need as a basis to start anything together is a RESPECT. Until I feel that thing is a mutual, not interested in going there.
I wish a good luck to your representative this year.
@ david daves
That's your opinion, i don't agree but i respect that.
I hope sometime you change your mind and visit Greece.
Its a beautiful country, people are open-hearted and ready to welcome everyone.
Respect is the key-word here.
No suspicion, no politics!
Always welcomed here!
Go Greece!
Stavros, I am pretty much relaxerd. But this si still OUTRAGEOUS!
The security cotrol should have priorities when it is about deadlines realated to purely artistic matters. One more reason for me NOT to go to Greece.
@ david daves
Relax my friend.
Its a security control not human rights abusement!
Good luck Andorra!
Go Greece!
I hope it'll all turn out fine. This is the best song Andorra has produced so far.
Terrible! Awful! Disastreous!
They are artists, not terorrists! The issue needs to be raised to a higher level, and the Anodrran delagation should complain.
Marvellous song and great singer. The song's growing on me every day. I really hope it'll make it!
i am not quite sure it will make it to the final.i like this song though.and i have to say that this is the best andorran entry out of three.andorra, keep on making progressing steps.jenny, good luck from the host country....
I DOTN THINK ANY DRESS IN THE WORLD CAN SAVE THIS SONG AND SINGER FROM A LOW PLACE IN THE SEMI! sorry andorra!!i like the country anyway!
Gerard T - don't even joke about that; can you imagine what would happen if there was one one day? Hate to be the voice of doom and gloom but there is a small chance one day it'll happen
.
But lets hope security there is top standard and the only things exploding will be Finland's pyrotechnics!
I feel sorry for Andorra; don't particularly like the song but I hope everything gets sorted soon. Good luck anyway!
Poor Jenny! I really hope everything will be ok in time so that she may reach the finals, as she deserves it!
Go Jenny! You and some other artists in this ESC keep the contest classy and really interesting! I don't want this ESC sense tu
!
Go Andorra!
Great voice, powerfull lyrics, i like this one!
Good luck to Jenny, from Belgium!
Good luck Andorra !!
As I am packing for Athens, I feel ecstatic that *Everything* is still No1 for many voters across Southern Europe. Obviously, all depends on the night. If Anna delivers a genuine believable performance (without over the top dramatics of Mediterranean tragedy) she has an excellent chance to stand out and wow the Northern European audience. But if she lets her own pride and (slight) arrogance overtake her professionalism, then I'd buy a metal helmet with hornes for next year!
"Everything is gonna burn next Saturday, when Anna Vissi comes to the stage, and everything is gonna blow up inside the Arena when she raises the Cup UP UP UP!!"
A piece of advice - a large, co-ordinated terrorist attack is not generally considered a good way to end an international television broadcast
Poor Jenny hope you get better soon!
@ Nikolaos Papas
... a Cup UP UP UP to HA*VE and to HOLD "Everything"!

It's right! The article mentions the costumes that Jenny and her dancers are to wear are among the things held at Customs!
The song is nice but i don't think so Andorra...sorry

"Sense tu" is one of my Top 12 overall favourite SONGS, this year!!!
Good luck, Andorra, at the Semifinal!
