Problems as Jenny suffers from cold

Customs crisis hits Andorra

The Andorran delegation's Eurovision Song Contest efforts have been hampered by a problem with Greek customs, which has delayed the arrival of all their materials for participation in Athens.

Not only is the consignment of press materials and CDs being held by officials, but also the costumes for the performance, including Jenny's dress for the big night. Andorran head of delegation Joan Anton Rechi is hopeful that the situation will be resolved by Monday, but if not, things will be getting extremely tight with the semifinal dress rehearsals round the corner.

Suffering from a cold
Jenny is suffering from a cold at the moment, and explained at today's press conference, wrapped in a pink shawl, that she is not feeling well at all. She is being taken good care of in the meantime, and should be well again in a couple of days. Despite her cough, the Mr. Rechi stated that today's rehearsal was better than ever, and the song is getting stronger and stronger.

Enjoying the opportunity
Asked about her final thoughts before stepping onto the stage, live on Thursday, Jenny said that she will keep in mind that it might be her last big opportunity, and just go out and enjoy it. She was then presented with a glass-engraved gift by Greek OGAE, which she seemed genuinely touched by.

The Andorran singer managed to grin and bear the discomfort of her cold, and treated the press centre to an a cappella chorus of Sense tu with her backing singers, as she walked back to the dressing rooms after the conference.

Hopefully the problems will be sorted soon, and the delegation will be at full force, complete with costumes, by the start of next week.
