TORNERO is Song of the Year 2006!

Am I the only one who thinks BWO had a positively Awful song and the lead singer cannot sing??
WHERE! IS! INES! WITH! ISEENDALE!?
In a SONG contest, the SINGER must be able to SING...
but Mr. Lordi sounded as if a ... strangled bat
got caught in his throat!!!!!
FACT: 1) An on-stage FIRE WORKS display and 2) horrible COSTUMES are
the TWO REASONS Finland won the Eurovision ... SONG contest in Athens.
Televoters ended up SAFELY voting for a song that [u]THEY[/u] even thought
[u]NEVER[/u] stood a chance to win (but did!) ... VERY SCARY, if you ask me!
It was supposed to be [b]Tornero[/b] versus [b]Everything[/b]
and EVERYONE knows it ... they were the TOP 2 SONGS!!
Pardon, but as proven and said by Mr Lordi himself, its not always going to be the same, its whos the best on the night, and Finland were, and still are. Thats why its not Bucharest 2007, its Helsinki 2007, it would have been, regardless. Finland were the best on the night, they proved it by smashing two long standing ESC records.

Romania's [b]T.O.R.N.E.R.O.[/b] was indeed the BEST [u]UPBEAT[/u] SONG at the
[b]ESC 2006 ATHENS[/b] and Greece's[b] E.V.E.R.Y.T.H.I.N.G.[/b] was the BEST BALLAD;
one that, literally, ROCKED the house!!!!!
Europe Felt the Rhythm ... and the thunderous applause for these two SONGS!!!!!
Congrats to the other winners as well ... especially Molly from Sweden!
Tornero was awesome and should have won! It was so cool and what an amazing performance! It should be Bucharest 2007! Maybe next year will be Romania's turn and it will be Bucharest 2008.
Bosnia and Herzegovina's song, Lejla would have been an excellent winner as well.

Although I prefer Anna Vissi's style..but I think Kate Ryan is an attractive lady as well and any colour will suit her well...
Arthur...read other comments and you will find out you are the only person here who thinks performance of Mandline was awful, I believe there were more awful performances on ESC who were awarded. And about award for best dress, it is nothing wrong Kate Ryan got it, her dress was suitable for her character and her song.

Well, I accept - Kate Ryan wasn't best dressed
Great winners, except for two: that ugly orange-dress looked too ugly on Kate Ryan's dark skin to be called "best dressed" and Mandoline as "best NF performance" must be a joke. The performance was awful.

Absoluetly, Tornero is my favourite song at ESC 2006. But Mihai's performance was very weak in the final. Tina Carol is so pretty, nice, sugar girl and has very strong performance. As we see from here, Lordi isn't the real winner of Athens 2006. The list must to be like that
1- Romania
2- Russia/Bosnia Herzigova (Still i cant decide )
3- Ukranie

Tina Karol was the most impressive performer, had the best voice and the nicest song ! Although a bit Shakira-like ! Wooff..... I have fallen in love with her !
"Show me your love" was even better than "Wild dances" to my humble opinion !

well, i love finland, but not turkey.. one of the worst in my eyes
how lame that Tina Karol won best performence award. It was the worst song this year with a not that special performence. its so sad that the viewers fall for such lame gimics. the best thing about ukrainien song this year was tina karol herfelf-she is red hot
i think best performences are Turkey and Finland.
She was the best singer in 2006 ESC..... Who is she? ANNA VISSI.
