Lyricist to 7 Eurovision songs
Pierre Delanoë (88) died
Delanoë, born as Pierre Leroyer on 16th December 1918, was a very well known lyricist. He wrote songs for famous (mostly French) singers like Gilbert Bécaud, Édith Piaf, Tino Rossi, Hugues Aufray, Michel Fugain, Nicoletta, Nana Mouskouri, Michel Polnareff, Gérard Lenorman, Joe Dassin, Nicole Rieu and Michel Sardou.
| Delanoë wrote lyrics to no less than 7 songs in the Eurovision history. He won the contest on his first attempt and participated for 4 different countries. Delanoë wrote the lyrics for: |

Monsieur Pierre will always live whenever we hear those songs he wrote lyrics for, I really like [i]Et bonjour a toi artiste[/i] and [i]Le Papa Pingouin[/i].
