One of the wildcards known

Another change in Bulgaria

Since the release of the Bulgarian finalists a few days ago we've already seen several changes to the list. Today we can add another one: Dimitar Atanasov will sing the song One way back home in the Bulgarian semi final, replacing Orlin Garanov's Tova e lyubovta.

You can find the line-up of the Bulgarian semi final here.

As previously published, BNT will add 3 specially commissioned wildcards by more established Bulgarian artists directly to the Bulgarian final. The first of these has made himself known, as in an interview with avtora.com, Koceto Kalki confirmed that he was the first wildcard.

A popular rumour in Bulgaria seems to be that the famous duo KariZma will be the second wildcard, however as yet there is nothing official on a possible participation of KariZma or not.

One of the songs in the semi final, Ya tvoya, performed by Sofi Marinova & Ustata, seems to be a Russian version of their current hit Moy si diavole.

The Bulgarian semi final will be held February 3rd, with the final taking place in the capital Sofia on February 24th. In 2 participations, Bulgaria has never once made it to the final, so whoever wins the Bulgarian selection will be hoping to become the first Bulgarian in a Eurovision final.

Thanks to all, friendly messages about Bulgaria.

I am not sure, about our chances to be a finalist this year, but let's hope for Eurovision, full with friends and good moments.

I also think that we will stay on Eurovision, no matter of results.

Best wishes to all friendly people and their countries.

Why don't people get off Bulgaria's back? So what if their selection process is a bit chaotic? Just be glad they have one at all. It's more than certain countries can be bothered with.

I have a feeling Bulgaria will fail again and then be no longer interested in the esc. We know that Turkey, Norway, Croatia, Malta must be at final.

I have a serious question here ... ???

Bulgaria is a very very very new ESC-country on the Esc-stage, BUT why does it have to go in a nearly scandal atmosphere .. in a little country like Bulgaria it has to go more smoothly rather than that the Bulgarian media plays with it every second. Don't they have another news to spoil with .. in some country the media is spoiling the esc in that particular country.. Some love a scandalous atmosphere and some don't.. But what the hell... Bulgaria will always be scandalic (roll-eyes)
