Michelle: breakdown on stage

Michelle, the German representative in the 2001 Eurovision Song Contest, had a breakdown during one of her concerts yesterday. After half an hour on stage, the singer collapsed unconscious and was carried off the scene in front of her fans. Michelle had started her tour three weeks ago and now it seems to be obvious that she is overworked and that she has completely spent out.

The doctors have advised to cancel the whole tour. Two years ago, a tour already had to be partly canceled because Michelle suffered from depression. It has been confirmed that her upcoming concerts in Chemnitz, Frankfurt and Mannheim will fall through.

In 2001, Michelle won the German national final with Wer Liebe lebt, which would be the last German entry to be - at least partly - sung in the native language. She finished 8th in Copenhagen. In the 1997 national final she had already reached third position with Im Auge des Orkans.

Molly,

I favour the Isle of Dogs myself.

Miaow.

Simon

I'm all for an Isle Of Man entry, personally. The more men the better.

Molly, you are absolutely right about those heavy lyrics. Her ample bosom, heaving with emotion, is still fresh in the memory.

Scottish entry 2008, maybe we can join you with a Welsh entry some time in the future too.

Anyway, hope she's fully recovered soon.

Poor dear. Hope she gets well soon. I should think it is the responsibility of singing those heavy lyrics that brought it on.
