Tonight: second Latvian semi final

Today will probably the biggest Saturday in this year's national final season. No less than thirteen countries are going to hold a show in their national selection. As every week, esctoday.com provides the latest news on the selections. Here you can read more about the Latvian show.

Eirodziesma 2007

The two semi finals of Eirodziesma 2007 take place on Saturday 27th January and Saturday 3rd February. The top five songs from each semi final, as chosen by a televote will go forward to the National Final on 24th February.

Latvia has participated in Eurovision Song Contest since 2000, achieving a victory in 2002 with Marie N and I wanna and hosting in 2003. In 2006 Cosmos finished 16th; therefore the winner of Eirodziesma 2007 will have to  participate in the semi final in Helsinki.
