It's such a shame that Ivana Radovniković will not appear in the finals, I thought she would get the maximum points, she had the best performance in the seminfinal, and a very catchy song. Unfortunately, Croatian jury always give low points to performers who rank as the most popular at the time, so that these cannot win. This happened in 2005 with Luka Nizetic and "Proljece", last year with Lana Jurcevic...
Dragonfly had one of the most boring songs of the semifinal. Everybody in Croatia was more than surprised to see them winning. This shows that something is obviously wrong with the voting system.

I must repeat, what Im writing here for the the last 2 weeks, overall, the quality of the songs are really bad this year... Anyway, my top is:

1. BELARUS (This is the first time I like a belarussian entry I think this is an imitation of last year's russian entry, but its a good song and I think Dimitry Koldun will perform it properly)

2.DENMARK (Chessy, its a fact, and I really think that this drag-queen number is totally out of fashion, but I must say that I like schlager and it always had a place in the ESC, but the dannish national had much better songs than this, Jacob and Me & My would have done much better)

3.CYPRUS (not really my kind of music, but its catchy, and Evridiki is a good performer, and it has the surprise of hearing french from Cyprus)

4.SPAIN (Our neighbours choosed the rigth song, I like it, but I guess they failed with the performers, but I think it deserves to do well, suerte España!)

5.ESTONIA (A good song, Pink in the house, Im afraid it wont be a winner)

6.POLAND (Its funny, and catchy, at least it isn't boring)

7.NETHERLANDS ( I hope it will have some changes, and that Edsilia will sing it in english, she is a good performer, I think with some changes, this song will be a pleasent surprise)

8.SWITZERLAND (Not brilliant, but catchy, I hoped a better thing, but I guess it will do very well)

9.MOLDOVA (This song is good, it still is growing in me when I listen to it)

10. ROMANIA (funny, nothing special, of course that "Dracula, My love" is much better, what a pity it has been desqualifed)

11. BELGIUM (Too much disco to 2007, but it could be a surprise, it has some potencial, but doesn't convince me)

12. ICELAND (This could be a surprise, it wasn't my choice, but Bríet Sunna Valdemarsdóttir with Blómabörn would be better, besides her awful performance. Give him a bath, new clothes, change it to english and find something to catch the attentions and this song could be a favourite to many people)

13.GREECE (old-fashioned, and I guess that "No Madonna" would be a better choice, not for the performer, but for the song, anyway, good luck)

14.NORWAY (horrible, an insult for the latin music, this is the chessiest song in the contest, Norway had some nice songs INFINITY, CRASH or even JANICKE ABRAHAMSEN songs were much better than this one)

15.LATVIA (Latvia, oh Latvia... Every year the wrong choice... Last year you had very nice songs like JENNY MAY, ELLA; H20 or MARTS KRISTIANS KALNINS to pick, but you had to choose Cosmo, and the result is that you are back to the semi. This year you had LENII, VIA MEITENES or H20, but again, an old-fashioned song, with some awful voices in the middle...)

16. FINLAND (the finnish final was awful, rock, rock and rock, I like rock, but it was just too much... LOVEX performance was bad, I agree, but the song was by far much better that this boring one)

17.SLOVENIA (Many people likes this one, but lets be honest, there too many mixed rythims and styles, for me it doesn't work...lets wait for an english version)

18.IREALAND (Oh Dear! boring Ireland is back with it's sad style... Im sorry, dont like, but I admit that it could grow on people when listened a few times)

19.MALTA (Sorry Malta, I hate your song... For me it has nothing, I feel the same after and before listening to it)

20.ISRAEL (Im sorry, no way...)

21.BULGARIA (screams-drums-drums-screams-drums-screams.... Hate it)

22. ALBANIA (I really dont know what to say, there isn't any song from this country I like... in 4 years...!!)

The others I haven't listen, but Im not expecting nothing good from FYROM, ARMENIA or MONTENEGRO. I hope that ANDORRA is as good as Im reading here, and hope that SWEDEN choose the Ark or Mans Zelmerlöw, those could reach a high score.

It seems that esctoday doesn't care that Andorra is sending their best song ever and has chances for final for the first time!!!
