Eager for fourth victory
Carola: I could be back in 2008
Carola confirms she might be after her fourth victory in Melodifestivalen already next year. “If I only get a really good song. It could be a ballad as well” she says. “It could as well be next year. I have been asked to be a wildcard before and if I am asked again and the song is the right one I would say yes” she concludes.
Tonight she will give the award to the winner of Melodifestivalen 2007. She has won the Swedish selection already three times: in 1983 with Främling (3rd in Munich), in 1991 with Fångad av en stormvind (winner in Rome) and last year with Evighet/Invincible, that gained her 5th place in Athens. This winning song will not be sung by Carola tomorrow night though, but by Tomas Anderson Wij to open the show. He covered the song already before Athens final and has had a hit with it as well.

And to all of you who says that she is homofobic. Do you still belive that after she talked to esctoday last year, and that her closets friends are actually gay!

Carola is not a one hit wonder:
1983 - Främling 3rd place
1991 - Fångad av en stormvind 1st place
2006 - Invincible 4th place

hmm... I'm not so sure it'd be a good idea. Carola has made wonderful performances in the contest and is surely one of it's best icons... It's not wise to risk that reputation.

Well, maybe is what Sweden needs after the bad choice of this year.
It's bad enough that she robbed Amina of victory and stopped BWO singing for Sweden last year. 3 times is enough,... and her presence at Melodifestivalen will make it a one horse race again. Even Jesus was only resurrected once!

No, Carola, don´t come back next year and ruin another MF. Spend your time reading your Bible and checking your bank account instead. Melodifestivalen needs new faces, not old dinosaurs.

I hereby solemnly swear that I will NOT vote for Carola should she participate again and that I will do my utmost to prevent friends and family from doing so, including bribes, sexual favours and/or death threats. She must be stopped.

I small comfort: Holland gave Amina the deserved 12 points...... and Amina was mentioned and got a lot of Air-play after the ESC in Holland.
The Dutch people certainly did not like and want that screaming-anti-gay girl......
And please let us pray that Carola will never enter the Eurovision again. Let us hope that God will be not that cruel to the European audience again....... and let's make Cruella Hakkvist....... "Invisible"

Sorry Peter.... europe loves carola?????? Well maybe the Swedes but outside Sweden she is -if she is lucky- just one of those one-day-hitwonders- who sang once in the ESC a song called "Främling", the other two songs........??????

The ESC feels so empty without Carola, I hope she comes back!
No matter what the most of the members on this website says and they are just haters who can't forgive, and people who are like that is one of the worst kind of people in the world.
Anyway, in Europe we still love her. And we will vote for her as long as she have a good song in the contest!
