Hear my plea lyrics online

Albania: Watch the video clip

Aida and Frederic Ndoci, the Albanian representatives in this year's Eurovision Song Contest will be singing their entry in English. The song is called Hear my plea and the official promotional video clip has been released.

Aida and Frederik will be performing 11th at this year's semi final.

Hear my plea
I say farewell, the final call
I turn and walk away, I leave it all
I find that life regains its glow
But the journey’s long, the going’s slow

A million miles later
I crave a love that’s greater
Take me home again

Chorus
Hear my plea
Take the longing of my heartbeat
Make the melody.
(I beg you), hear my plea
As it quivers in the tear drops
That you shed for me.

I beg you, hear my plea
Take the longing of my heartbeat
For eternity (bis)

I beg you hear my plea
The pain, the suffering of today
Tomorrow’s memory

I don't know a word on Albanian (except 'dzigljat' what I suppose is 'to tickle', a colleague from Albania told me that :P), but the song has some special 'flavour' when sung on your native langugae.
'Balada E Gurit' - what does that mean?

(I found it on Youtube, thanx ;))

Greetings from Bosnia!

I liked the Albanian version as well. The way they transformed it is no problem at all (on the contrary), but the language should have remained Albanian. lol nothing patriotic, simply because it sounds more original and it could attract people more.
In english it sounds like coming from somewhere surreal: hear my plea... God!!!!
I still hope the general public likes it and votes it. I personally love it... even if his accent is horrible. There have been worst accents anyways.

I really like this song, and I don't know why this song is underrated everywhere, but doesn't matter, we can't talk about tasts, but I am sure 100% that it will get to the final, no matter who will vote for it.
It doesn't matter that the video was made in Macedonia, that's good sign.
all the best to ALbania
definitelly in the final no matter reactions here beucase only few hunderds of people make comments here, and Europe is biggg,
vote for quality

btw, can you link me to a song sung on Albanian? Although I will not understand a single word, I'm interested to hear how it sounds.

WOW! I like the song and the video, very very much. I think the song is powerful and that chorus is very catchy. It reminds me on singing of Ibrica Jusic and Kemal Monteno, singers from Bosnia and Croatia. I wish you all the luck in the contest, greetings from Bosnia.

he totally messed up the song with these ridiculous english lyrics! I loved the song in Albanian, now with his broken english it sounds so lame and unreal, lost all its original charm ... They did the same in 2005 when they ruined a what could have been a big hit!

I liked the albanian version, there is something very nice and romantic about the melody and the feeling of the song, but it's sad that they changed it into english... It's always better in the original language :) But good luck anyway!

One of the best songs this year! I hope Albania does well. This and Ledina Celo are my favourite Albanian entries. Last year's was boring and one of the worst in the semi-final but this year it's a great return to form for Albania!

I liked Anjeza, but I think this song is even better. No so bubblegum pop. And honestly, Anjeza's voice was not the best on Earth!

Since the first successful entry of Albania four years ago, the quality goes down. I suspect that this year Albania will take points only from its neighbours (Greece, Macedonia, Montenegro and Serbia - if votes from Kosovo count).

Fabio, I didnt mention any criteria, I simply express my opinion which by the way is common in most ESC fans.

all the countries on the balkans are beautiful and have big ancient heritage. The idea of Dejan Milicevic, the director was by shooting the video in MK to inspire the Macedonians to vote for it but many people misunderstood it as it always happen in this region. Also it was a nice "thanks" for all the 12es AL got from MK till now. The most precious thing is that a Serb made a video for Albania in Macedonia... look on the bright side of this.
Pershendetje nga Maqedonia

PS it's the same director of the MK video in 2002 and also the locations are almost all the same... not so creative from his side, he copies himself... but anyways...

I think he's not so confident singing in English, and that's why his vocals are not so strong as in Albanian language. But the arrangement in this new version is much better. I like the atmosphera of the song, specially the intro, very haunting. And he can sing, who can deny it? The video is very nice, too.

PR: that's all you can say? I love your criteria. Get a life! (and I am not talking about the Austrian song!)

The clip is beautiful. Is shoted in macedonia coz is an macedonian director. But we have many beautiful places in Albania...Albania is an beautiful country.Coz we have 476 km of beaches...Betwen Adriatic70% and Jonian30% sea.And we have many antic places...So i know that macedonia is a beautiful country but Albania is better!....And i like the song in albaninan but in this way u understand the meaning...but i still love this song!VOTE FOR ALBANIA!Because this is 100 %music, not rubish!

I liked more the original version in Albanian but this one is still the most strongest song this year.
Nice voices, great music.

i knew that the three minute version wouldn't work for me. this song needs to breathe slowly. but i never expected that they would completely ruin this beautiful song: the english is terrible, the orchestration weak. they've drained this song of all the mythical energy it had in the original. well, i will always love the albanian more than four minutes version.
