first BigPoll predictions announced!
Turkey and Malta to the final!
In what at this stage, is by far the closest BigPoll we have ever seen, the first thousand predictions suggest that the ten qualifiers from the 2007 Eurovision Song Contest semi final are:
1 Turkey
2 Malta
3 Belarus
4 Serbia
5 Cyprus
6 FYR Macedonia
7 Slovenia
8 Switzerland
9 Norway
10 Bulgaria
Those just behind the top ten are Andorra, Georgia, Hungary, Estonia and Moldova. Of the most hotly tipped countries to pass to the final before polls opened, Denmark are currently sitting in 16th place, Latvia in 18th and Israel in 25th position! According to the first results, Croatia, Montenegro and Albania will be in the last three positions.
Of course, things will move around over the upcoming weeks. Do you agree with these predictions? Well that is good news!!!! First of all i am so glad that Maltas vertigo is still at the top of the list..It seems that I am surely not the only one thinking and feeling that this song a great one is!!! |My doubts go to some other entries of the current list of the big poll: i do not think that the turkish entry(for me a copy of justin timberlakes "rock your body" both in music and video clip) will score that high, i think it will struggle to get in the 10 qulaifiers...I doubt it very hard that Norway is going to pass the semmi too..about Slovenia, well what can i say: i think it may pass, but i do not lie it at all!! it is a mix of ballad/po0operette, of the kind that can get on your nerves...I think bulgaria is definetely going to score much higher than only the last position of the 10 qualifiers..and about The entry of FYR Macedonia: what can i say i think and i hope t does not qualify..it is a very mediocre meaningless pop song...GO OLIVIA, GO MALTA, make europe move to your suberb melody!!!

I'm really sorry... It is not my intention to offend anyones taste. Just expressing a personal opinion.
Nevertheless, I really think that the Turkish song insulting to a grownup's I.Q.
It should have been a theme song for a kindergarden advert.

Cypriot song is good and i say it's good.it's that simple.
i know there are Greeks who can't say that freely for a Turkish entry just like some Turks.

I don't know what planet you come from but just to inform you ... YES, I am a MACEDONIAN, citizen of the REPUBLIC OF MACEDONIA and stop writing your quasi-political anti-knowledge on a Eurosong contest web site. For your information, 114 countries have already recognized Macedonia as Macedonia and your chauvinism cannot stop that process (it can just postpone it for your further embarrasement). Check your history books (if your Government did not burn them) ... until 1989 your part of Macedonia was called Northern Greece and check what happened in years 1912, 1913, 1922 and 1947 ... but not Greek sources ... try Oxford, Cambridge and so on ...
As for your votes ... try to be more objective - Cyprus will never be in the final (Evridiki is nice but the song stinks)!!!
