Former winner doesn't like the 2007 entry
Listen to Dana International's new song
The song Hakol ze letova (Everything is for the better) was released today for the Israeli media. The song is the first single out of Dana International's upcoming album, the first one after 4 years of artistic silence. For the first time, Dana also composed some of the tracks in her album, which is said to be a blend between a happy and cheerful mood and more melancholic. You are able to listen to the song, just by entering Dana's official website at danainternational.co.il or a relevant item on Ynet.co.il (click on the links).
Dana International speaks today on the Israeli paper Yediot Ahronot. When asked on her opinion about this year's Israeli entry to the Eurovision Song Contest, Push the button by Teapacks, she tries to stay polite but does not spare the criticism: "I adore Teapacks and truly love Kobi Oz. Unfortunately, I don't like the song at all. Its not that I have earned a degree in Eurovision studies, nor anybody has. No one can tell which is the winning formula- anything can happen. Nevertheless, I don't believe I would have chosen such a song for the contest. Despite that, I wish them the best of luck and hope for the best. We must give them the chance".

The new single is great.. I looking forward to hear her new album too.
Got ALL the Albums of Dana International - and LOVE her and her Music.
Sooo great that there is finally a new Album soon.
The new Song sounds great!
I like Dana's songs. I believe Laila tov Europa would be a hit throughout Europe if it was selected at the national finals and performed at contest but it wasn't. I also like many of her other songs, especially the one where she sings a "coo coo roo coo cooo" refrain :-)
stop talking about teapacks!!:/
this article speaking about the dana's new single!!
@ Peter Eriksson:
Moderate your comments, it's not nice to see BITCH when you are refering to a winner or ESC. By the way, do you have some idea about what does bitch mean??
And please, stop saying he/she. It denotes your "politely" homophobia, and you are showing us the opposite view we have about Sweden.
Do you think she is a joke and a scandal because she support politics?? Well, you're judging her because she was not born woman... So think about who is the BITCH here.
Hope to see you in the Europride in Madrid in June 2007.
@ haim you cant say that imanni was boring hers is one of the best ever eurovision songs,
1998 was the best year at all IMO...
I LOVE Dana International, you go girl!! I hope the album is a great success
I love u, Dana! U are the best!
This years entry from Israel is for me much better than Diva song from 1998 that won the contest, it doesn't surprise me Dana has negative opinion about it, but they need a chance too. Hope that Israel qualifies.
I still wonder how she managed to win in 1998. Many other songs were better than "Diva"; I still consider it a silly and stupid song.
King Kong: can you stop with your repulsive messages!
Alexander ©: YOU can shut up!!
I hope Dana will represent Israel in 2008. After 10 years Israel will win the ESC again, but this year Israel will be in the last in the semi-final, because they will perform from slot 2, and both Bulgaria (slot 1) and Cyprus (slot 3) are really good this year.
The best countries this year:
1. UK/Bulgaria
2. Bulgaria/ UK
3. Cyprus
4. Switzerland
5. Norway
6. Bosnia&Herzegovina
7. Greece
8. Georgia
9. France
10. Estonia
11. Hungary
12. Russia
13. FYR.Macedonia
14. Poland
15. Portugal
Dana...who?
I'd focus on my (stalling) career if I were you, honey.
I don't like the israelian song this year. After watching the video clips and after seeing some life performances.......these are my top 10:
1.Malta / Switzerland
2. Switzerland/ Malta
3. Turkey
4. Belarus
5. Russia
6. Spain
7. Greece
8. Bosnia
9. Romania
10. Serbia
Malta has the best formula and Olivia is preparing a good performance. One can notice differences between her performances in Malta, Spain, Cyprus and Ukraine...her perfroamnce gets better and better!!!!
Swiss song is nice and they will have a nice dance routine but it's a bit too much AQUA and a bit too much pantominish!
Turkey...great song but singer is very stiff
Belarus has a great song (a bit copied) but from their wonderful clip....I don't think the singer can interpret this song as good as last years' Dima!
Russia has a good, spicy girl song. very good tune!
Spain has a boy band song, very good tune!
Greece is spicy...maybe we'll have a good performance...but all that shaking reminds me of sakis
Bosnia is a wonderful song and as usual I am expecting a wonderful mysterios perfromance....might climb to the top 3.
Romania will be funny ....people will like it
Serbia has a very good song...it make you feel like flying! very good song but i fear their coreography!
Hehe Charlotte Church must learn through Dana how to be polite
!!! She showed that she doesn't like the song in a very polite way
! And i agree with her
Great singer/... i'm really like her.... and a good song.. the lyrics are so good...
Come On DANA!
@ Peter
Quite frankly - håll käft.
there will be a lot og ZEROs this year.....
ISRAEL will get nul points over all
i like dana...BUT NOT THE TEAPOT SONG
Dana International is pathetic!
How can he/she say, "I wish them the best of luck and hope for the best. We must give them the chance".
He/she supports political propaganda in the ESC, that BITCH!!!
My opinion about Dana has always been that he/she is a big joke, but now I see that he/she is one of the worst pathetic scandals in the ESCs history!
As much as I don't like Dana Intnl, I must admit that she put it very well!
I totally agree with Dana's opinion about Teapack, and she expressed it in a nice and polite way. Well done!
