April fools day
Eurovision Song Contest jokes
The biggest story came from esconnet.dk who were first able to announce that Denmark would withdraw from next years Eurovision Song Contest due to financial reasons which indeed was quite believable as DR is indeed facing problems of this nature at the moment. Later they did a follow up saying that the other big national TV station TV2 might be interested to take over – but that they would do a survey first amongst its viewers in order to find out if there was a general interest for them to participate.
Eurovision-Croatia was able to present the breaking news that Dragonfly feat. Dado Topic who will be defending the Croatian colours in Helsinki would actually be singing in French for the contest. This would mean that two countries were to sing in French this year– Cyprus and Croatia, two countries without an obvious reason for French.
In Sweden the fans were presented for two major changes regarding the 2008 Melodifestival. Escsweden.com revealed that the Swedish final next year will be done in the same way as they did their “second chance” this year which means that the songs will be competing against each other in pairs until we are down to a couple where one winner will be chosen.
Gylleneskor.se however told us that next year it wont be SVT planning the Swedish contest as they have just sold the Melodifestival rights to the private Strix Television!
Melodimen.blogspot.com were able to present the fantastic news of a growing interest in the United Kingdom as Royal Mail were to release a set of stamps with previous participants as Nicki French, Cheryl Baker & Jay Aston, Sonia, Brotherhood of Man and Katrina. The stamps would be celebrating that this year it is 50 years since the United Kingdom entered the Eurovision Song Contest.
Diggiloo.net gave us all a laugh as they had published a new list with song titles for the songs competing in the 2007 Eurovision Song Contest. The Bulgarian entry was suddenly called Vodka and Redbull, the song from Moldova was named as Fight for your right to party, the Danish entry had been renamed as Drama Queen Margrethe 2nd after the present Danish queen, Olivia Lewis would be singing Dizziness for Malta and Gerli Padar Same-sex partners in crime for Estonia. The new title from Spain had been slightly changed to I love you my diva, and in Sweden The Ark entry was now called Invincible 2: Carola’s revenge. The entry from Scooch had been changed to Frying the fag and from Armenia we would have Hayko singing Anytime you need (except Tuesday. I am busy Tuesday).
Finally, in Switzerland Sonttags Zeitung, the Sunday paper, reported that the fundamentalists won and DJ BoBo will be withdrawing from the contest.
Despite the fact that the above news was not true we are however sure that we still have a lot to look forward regarding the 2007 Eurovision Song Contest which will be held in Helsinki, Finland.

The video clips are made by the site escportugal.blogspot.com and like I said are not officials, because the official video is being done by the music producer Emanuel.

And All kinds of everything write:
While a lot of controversy has surrounded this year's U.K. selection process, it looks as though things might be looking up for next year. Eurovision fans and many others were disapointed when the BBC decided not to take Morrissey up on his offer to write a song for the U.K. in Helsinki, but an even bigger name with even higher international recognition could be "flying the flag" at next year's Eurovision Song Contest.
The Tellytubbies are one of the most successful children's television series of all time, and are currently celebrating their tenth annniversary. Although the show is aimed at children between the ages of one and four, it has been a substantial cult hit with older generations, particularly university students. "Teletubbies Say Eh-Oh!", a single based on the show's theme song, reached number 1 in the UK Singles Chart in December 1997 and remained in the Top 75 for 32 weeks, selling over a million copies.
Since then the four Tellytubbies have been concentrating on television, but now they want to re-start their musical career. The idea of representing the U.K. at the Eurovision Song Contest, is apparently the idea of Tellytubby member Po (right in the picture).
In an exclusive interview with "All Kinds Of Everything" Po said that there were several reasons why the Tellytubbies would be the perfect act to represent the U.K. in 2008. Unlike recent U.K. entrants we have a proven record in making hit singles, we're known throughout Europe (and beyond), our fan base has now grown up and many are now typically Eurovovision televoters and it is well known that I personally am a "gay icon" ensuring adiitional points from across Europe.
When we asked about possible issues with "musical credability", Po was very frank, saying that the Tellytubbies obviously were clearly more credible than this year's U.K. entrants Scooch. So far no work has been done on writing a potential Eurovision entry for The Tellytubbies, but rumours that they were working with a top Swedish songwriter were not deind by Po.
lol dizziness
