Happy Birthday Agnetha!
Agnetha, a singer and songwriter, was a star in her own accord before ABBA was formed. She started her musical career at the age of 15 and had her first number one hit , Jag var så kär, in Swedenin 1967. In July 1971 she married Björn Ulvaeus. The marriage didn't last long, they got divorced 8 years later, but they didn't let this fact interfere with their joint musical careers as ABBA members. In 1974, the legendary group won the Eurovision Song Contest with Waterloo, the song voted by fans as the most popular entry in the contest's long history.
After the ABBA broke up in 1982 Agnetha followed a quite successful solo career. She released 5 solo albums (one of them in Swedish, the rest in English) and seven compilations. She also published her autobiography As I am in 1996.
Agnetha made he last appearance on stage, so far, at the final performance of Mamma Mia! in Stockholm together with ex-husband Björn.
