The Jet Set nominated for Eska Awards
The Jet Set have been nominated for Best Polish Group 2006 and for Radio Debut 2006. The Gala will take place on 27 April, a few days before the band heads out for Helsinki, in the Hala Sportowa in Lodzi at 20.00 local time. The show will be broadcast by Polsat and there will also be a webcast here.
Monrose, this year's German national final runner ups will be guest stars in the Gala. Other nominations include Starchursky ( Polish national final 2003) in the Artist of the Year category, Gosia Andrzejewicz (Poland 2005 with Ivan and Delfin, Belarus national final 2005) and Kasia Cerekwicka (Polish national final 2006) in the Female Artist of the Year and Hit of the Year (Gosia is also nominated for the Radio Debut category as well) and finally Wilki (Polish national final 2003) in the Best Polish Group category.

The Polish performance was the best of those which were performed in TVE. I think that Poland can surprise thsi year if they make a good and catching performance as they did in Spain, but that's very difficult because they'd have to sing very well and accurate too. Dangerous but exciting song from Poland. Let's see if you finally pass the 11th place in the Semis.
just the fact that noone carries about polish song (and there's only single one news) shows that this song has got NO CHANCES. the 11th place in semis this year will be sucess ;]

This song has grown on me over the past few weeks. However the Jet Set's live performances of this song tend to be brilliant. I would expect qualification.

Poland is always near to the Final, but never makes it, as Slovenia. This year song is not bad at all, the video is great and it has a good rythm. The most interesting thing of thw song is, maybe, the performance, but we have to take one thing into account: an impressive performance like the one they did in TVE in Spain is difficult when singing live. I know Poland is not a favourite, but who knows, it's an interesting duo, with a simple melody and with a great performance can do well. Good luck!

I like the song and the performance they did on Spanish TV was excellent, the most professional one of the 6 we watched in Spain. In my opinion, Poland deserves to be in the final and get a top 10 position.

I agree 100% with all you said - this song is not bad at all, and the video is excellent. Wouldn't mind to see it in the finals, but as things are, it's not very likely.

This is definitely one of the worst entries this year and probably this is why it is not catching more attention.
No no no. I really hope this songs stays put in the semifinal. Sorry, but this is like Moldova (the loco-coco song) last year IMO. Good luck anyway.
i think poland stands a good chance to advance to the final this year. Not to win but atleast get a good position. SWEDEN WINS.
Poland is one of my favourite ESC countries, having started [i]brilliantly[/i] with Edyta Gorniak, Justyna, Anna Maria Jopek and Kasia Kowalska. With a couple of exceptions, the Poles have been steadily good since. I like the Jet Set entry (the video is fabulous) and will vote for it, altough I don't see it as a mass-appeal entry this year. Best of luck to Poland from Serbia.
