Silvia Night's new album and video
Goldmine, Silvia's first studio album, was released at the beginning of the month by Reykjavic Records and produced by Quarashi, Warren Ryker- best known for his work with Beyoncé and Michael Jackson, Sölvi Blöndal and Silvia herself. The album features many songs from the Silvia Night show. According to Silvia, her 3 album deal with Reykjavik Records is the biggest record in the music history of Iceland.
Silvia's video clip for the first single of the album Thank you baby was shot in Mexico and is now available online. You can watch it by clicking here.

in the lyrics it says "whats up doc?" not DOG. Doc is a casual, impersonal term of address used to a man.

The video doesn't seem to have much to do with the sing but it's a great anyway. The ending is the best bit, very funny. In a way it detracts from what is a very nice song. Silvia is simply Fab!

I bought this album the day it came out here in Iceland.
It smells like strawberries. Sugaryness..
Its a pretty good looking cd, and the tracks aren't bad either. I especially like Goldmine and Harajuku.
I was sort of surprised how low the sales are starting out to be.
Its fairly priced and very much worth it.
And the video is the greatest ever.. I've never stopped being a fan. Can't wait for more from her. HOPE there is more from her.
If not, I hope Ágústa Eva becomes a superstar on her own.
