greece and cyprus have the same stars and almost the same taste when it comes to show business...and there were years in the past that cyprus did not give 12 points to greece, even when still jurys were voting, once not even 10, for example see 1991, or 1987 and some other time..you can check all this on this site in the historu section and the timetables....anyway i think no country should justify to which entry it gives its 12 points....no justification needed..and this year again the cypriot and the grek entry(especially this) are one of the best entries acording to my opinion anyway....very very good and strong are Bulgaria(!!!!!), Serbia, and most of all Malta and Vertigo....but good luck to all(less luck to Switzerland and Verka though ;-)

After i watch the video clips i dont agree with the 'experts' about malta. Vertigo for sure will have many votes from cyprus.

Well, Sarbel is from Cyprus, as well as Anna Vissi so at least 12 points from Cyprus are justified this time.

To all vertigo / olivia / malta fans - next friday - there is a 3 hour program - going to be held - infront of a 3,000 audience - its going to be fully dedicated to Olivia Lewis - there is going to be a livestream on the internet! the program is going to be GREAT - so you must watch it - hehe! its in maltese 
- but you will surely enjoy the features - and clips - that they have prepared! there is going to be a new vertigo video presented - full of humour

i do not think that the opinion of five "experts" reflect the way people think about the songs or how viewers are gonna vote on the night of the contest..so do not pay much attention to it..although i agree, vertigo is fantastic, olivia seems to be also a very nice person, and i think malta will be a great esc host.so all vertigo-addicts of the intrnet unite! :-))
wow - alot of nicknames are going VERTIIGOOO ! - that's great - keep supporting the maltese song - and our artist! our Olivia will win the hearts of europeans on may 10th - she is so loved in malta - and i am sure she will be loved by europeans! she has an amazing character! i wish the best of luck to olivia and all the other participants! i hope i get to know what the cypriot panel said about the maltese entry! i have the feeling that they said some negative things - given malta such low points!
I am really not impressed - with the 24 pts given to Malta - i think the song deserves better - but anyway - that's opinions! .. but can anyone gentle in here - who watched the show - kindly enough - give me a summary of the main points that the panel said about the maltese entry ! thankyou !

no honestly i am not NiColas Vertigo....but he seems to like also vertigo and serbias molitva..these are also two of my favourites..i did not expect that my silly idea of renaming me Vertigo would find followers..thats funny ;-)
My Personal favourites and in no particular order:
France: Original (Franglais: Love it;-)), sleek and lot's of fun. It is the "Détente Cordiale" put in practice.
Sweden: Party time, makes the sun go up on a dreary day.
Cyprus: Love, love it. good clubsong. (nothing wrong with her French)
Germany: Brave choice from the Germans. My knees go all weak for the hottest guy in the contest (as far as I'm concerned he wins for that alone in my book).
Turkey, Bulgaria, Georgia: Very good, however that will really depend on the performance on the night itself....??
Ireland: this song has won me over. Wonderful song, great lyrics and a positive message. The lyrics "The may steal the honey, but they will never steal the sting" make's me go all soft inside. Ireland could be a good return on your bet.
If any of the above would win I would be very happy, everybody else would make me happy too;-))))

people, you always forget one thing: Cyprus and Greece have the same pop stars and listen almost to the same music, so it is normal that they like the entries of each other....Sarbel is a star in Greece and in Cyprus also.thesame with Anna Vissi and Helena, e.t.c. is this so hard to understand?

IN MY OPINION THAT 10 COUNTRYS MUST TO PAST FROM SEMI FINAL TO THE FINAL: MALTA,CYPRUS,BULGARIA,NETHERLA NDS,BELARUS,TURKEY,SWISS,DENMA RK,SERBIA, AND SLOVENIA THE 5 COUNTREYS WHO HAVE GOOD SONGS AND MAYBE PAST IS: ISRAEL,ANDORRA,ICELAND,FYROM AND GEORGIA

Looked at the webcast, and these people seem to have something against rock songs... (Why should ESC only consist of disco songs? Strange view...)
And not surprisingly, songs from Southern Europe tend to get more points than others... People criticise the Nordic preview shows for giving most points to Nordic entries, but they are no worse than others!
