Calling all Eurovision Song Contest fans
OGAE Preview Party in Dublin!
This year's preview party will be taking place downstairs in the stylish John Keatings Bar on Mary Street in Dublin, Ireland on Friday 27th April at 20:30 local time. (21:30 CET) The party will include a full preview off all of this year's songs, a full vote and a live show.
Internationally ignored songtress Yuri Vision and Flemland's very own Hans Nosenfeet will be presenting the evening along with some very very special guests.
Entry to the party is free and there's a late night license extension until 02:30 local time. Get there early to get a voting card so you can vote at the end!

I'm going as I am sure most members in Ireland here ! I will probably be there myself .
Anyone going to this? Really like to be there but dont fancy going on my own.
Its the Virgin Megastore in Liffey Valley that have it. I rang them and asked them to keep me a copy.

Which Virgin Megastore? I'm still without a copy and it's not on itunes or from the ESC downloads store yet.
Re radio two, if your on NTL cable, you can get it on FM. If you've digital, its on channel 912 or somewhere around there.
Just to add, Virgin Megastore has some copies. I have just cancelled my order for the CD off HMV

Cheers for that, I was listening to the competition on Today FM. I wasn't aware they did have anything in the run up to Eurovision. Thanks for that !

Ray D'Arcy's morning programme on Today FM always broadcasts from the eurovision. The have went for the past two years and will be there again this year. His programme is on from 9-12.
Anyone know is it possible to get BBC Radio 2 here in Dublin? The Irish media has hardly any coverage of the contest but Wogan usually broadcasts from the venue where the contest is and does loads of pre Eurovision vox pops , interviews etc....
Not a bad price if you ask me for the CD, i am sorry now I didnt actually order it on the web!

all these polls and ogae favourites and whatever, mean absolutely nothing. It is going to be the people out there who are going to judge on what they see and hear on the 10th and 12th may! Did Finland win any ogae poll? NO! Lithuania win any poll last year? NO. Did kate ryan win any poll last year? YES. Did Anna vissi when any poll last year? YES.
Okay - let's give it a break then!

I can't believe the Eurovision party is taking place at a bar on Mary Street. That's even better than my favorite Bosnian sitcom, "My name is Grozna Kurvac. I'm from Uzice, but my parents were born in Konjic."

I can't wait for this! Great venue, nice and big, plus plasmas tvs abundant! Roll on Friday. Now if only I could find a HMV stocking the album for this year!
