Serebro release new Song #1 video

Serebro, Russia's 2007 Eurovision Song Contest representatives have released a new promotion video for their entry, Song #1. The new video has been created for the non-Eurovision Song Contest version, lasting just over 3 minutes and 40 seconds and is the one that will be distributed to music television channels as part of the commercial release of the song.

Speaking earlier this month, the band talked about their entry, Song #1, is about "real, strong, beautiful girls who know what they want and always get the most out of life", explains Olga. And, just like anyone, real girls feel that pre-contest tension too. "Of course we're a little nervous" admits Lena. "It's our first concert and stage appearance, so I guess there will be nerves".

After Dima Bilan took Russia to 2nd place at the 2006 Eurovision Song Contest, Serebro are qualified for this year's final on 12th May in Helsinki.

UK will surely give 12 to Sweden, high points to Ukraine, Denmark, Ireland, Finland, Greece and Russia will get 1 if it's lucky. If UK would only give DIMA 1, why on earth would we give this higher :P

To Beca Lidi : it's obvious Photoshop. Just look at the head and at the rest of the body,the propotions are different, besides face is too whitish for the rest of the body. It's very-very bad done photoshop.

The Russian song and the tv spot are made very professionally. Nevertheless, I find the song somehow empty, "without soul". I don't believe that Russia will repeat their last year's success.

Russia has been working so hard to win lately..This year they are again sending a nice song.
BUT
Everything is up to their live performance.We saw a lot of strong songs fail in previous years.
If they manage to sing this song live well,I think 2007 will be a Russian year!

@Luka
Ireland hasen't given the UK 12 in YEARS!! (the last country to give us 12 WAS Austria in 2002) and the UK hasn't given Ireland higher than 8 in the past few years! sure the song will count of something and Ireland will probably get high UK votes but its just not a popular enough type of song to get 12 (though i wouldn't rule it out). Its a voting block but it is by no means as stable as ones in the East. The UK USUALLY goes for the song and performance for its 12 then 10 is usually a bit of a odd ball like Lithuania last year and 8 is usually reserved for Ireland.

Very much sounding like Sugababes but very nice to hear anyway. The major problem I see here is trying to make this sound live like the studio version.

UK always gives some votes to a novelty act because us Brits are suckers for that! but i think Sweden actually falls into the catagory this year because no way can you take it 100% seriously! the UK will probably give it points but i dont think it will be 12, my bet for Uk's 12 is to Russia, Greece or Switzerland. I dont see why people think the UK would never give points to Russia we are one of the LEAST political voting countries going (with the exception of our partnership with Ireland), and the Russian song is very British Popy so it only makes sense for the UK to give high points to it!

This is one of the best songs this year. I love itand it deserves to be a hit however it does in the Eurovision. Got a feeling that the UK will be giving its 12 points to Sweden this year, hopefully 10 points to Russia and possibly 8 points to Greece.

@Lemongrass with Sugar:
thanks mate...well i hope the same too, especially for Verka and Ukraine this year, and DJ Bobo from Switzerland....but, my friens i am really afraid Ukraine has good chances to win....for Switzerland i think it may not even pass the semis(and I hope so), and for Russia, even if they will manage to sing this song somehow live and get some high points from all the "allied" countries, i do not think they will come first(well at least i hope so....let us see whats going to happen

@Owen Williams:
yes i know the Uk gives often the highest points to the best song: in the last years she ahs given also twice 12 points to Greece(2004+2005)..you really have a good taste, i mean this seriously :-)...i hope UK voters will also find Sarbel good this year(and i think he is really very good for this sort of contest)
Cheers

Not a song that impressed me, very cliche and heard before, but good luck anyway Russia, wish you had send something as great as last year's Dima Bilan song . Belarus for the first time is sending a good song, thanks to Kirkorov. ;)
