@Michalis Antoniou

Michali, I don't understand what is the problem and you hesitate to answer to a simple question: When did the voting take place? Just Ignore all the other information like how many members voted etc etc. You said that I am the only one asking these things. So what? What's the difference if one or 100 people are asking about the credibility of this voting procedure.
If you are clean then give the results and the information to the public and don't tell me that OGAE is for the fans who really love ESC because I love it more than you do and be sure about that!

I think you pretend that you don't understand but you know what I am talking about. If such a voting actually took place by OGAE Cyprus then I know specific persons (members) that should have been invited to attend the previews and the voting. If this voting was real and ALL, I repeat ALL the OGAE Cyprus members were invited to vote as you claim then how comes and and some members never received such invitations, neither they heard anything about this procedure, and they only found out about it until they read this article at esctoday?
Come on, just admit that this voting was never officially organised by OGAE Cyprus and the votes are just a result of your personal taste and a few of your friends perhaps.

Anyway, I said whatever I wanted to say about this story to the co-ordinator of OGAE international so there is no reason to contact you personally. It's not a matter of convincing me personally about what really happened with this voting because I know what is the truth behind it but you as the 'so called' president of OGAE Cyprus should be more 'clear' and fair with several OGAE procedures.

@TP:
Malta IS the best song of this year...and that is probably why it is so underrated up to now...Vertigo is from all sides superb: music, melody, words, originality and voice(competing with the very good voice of Marija from Serbia on this, on the best voice of this year)...but i am not that sad about it: Ukraine and Tina Carol was at the bottom of every pre poll of the 2006 contest, i liked the song from the very beginning, and it DID qualify and took a very good 7th place leaving many favourites of the polls and the odds...so Vertigo fans, do not worry, Olivia has the best song this year, and she will be rewarded for this...GO MALTA, GO VERTIGO!!!

@ Mihalis Antoniou

You didn't answer my question, When and where did this voting of OGAE Cyprus take place? And what were the criteria to invite specific OGAE Cyprus members only while some others where never invited? If things happened exactly as you described, that all members were invited and you are ready to give out the results plus more information, then you have nothing to fear about, just reply to my questions here so all the fans can learn about it.

I am not interesting for your results anymore because its too late. After the whole thing, any results can be made up very very easy. Just reply, when did this voting take place and WHY didn't you invite all OGAE Cyprus members (in case this voting actually took place). You know that I am saying the truth, don't you?

Well well, here I am. The president of OGAE CYPRUS.

To all friends around Europe.

Anybody wanna see the resaults with points and everything can contact me.
And to mr. Eurobreeze: Can you tell me please who is that member he or she didn't invited to our preview show to give his/ her votes?
If you want the information you ask you can contact me. And as for the number of the members is not your own bussines. Be sure that on the voting procedure take part over 30 persons.

And as for the countrys that OGAE MEMBERS voted i must admit that is members own personal opinion and they dont represent the Cypriot televoters that they are gonna vote for the Eurovision Song Contest this year.

President OGAE CYPRUS

@Cra-Zee

I'm afraid that only a good voice is not enough for victory. The song itself has to be good too.

@ FLO i agree Alenka is gr8, probably the best voice in ESC this year

@ Nikolas Vertigo:
No, you are wrong! Alenka is the best! :-)
But don't bother, I'm also convinced that Olivia Lewis will do very, very well! I love her song, it's really original, the lyrics are great, the music is extraordinary...
I wish Malta the best of luck and with a great performance, I can imagine to give Olivia some votes as well.

Tue 24 Apr 2007 14:43:09

who represent finally OGAE Cyprus?

I think (im sure) that Greece will have our 12 points
Russia 10
Spain 8
Bulgaria 7
Malta 6
Switzerland 5
Sweden 4
Romania 3
Ukraine 2
Turkey 1

P.S. There are many immigrants from east europe so every year cyprus "award' east europe countries with many points like germany and belgium do the same with turkey.

Unfortunatelly televoting have this disadvantage and for that reason we are watching the last year balkan and east europe countries do it well and other have bad results like belgium, netherlands etc

No, Malta is THE most OVERRATED song this year.

Sweden in 24th, and Turkey shut out of the final. These voters have some taste at least.

hmm shocking results in did :) but i dont think slovenia will win and they wont get the big 12 from cyprus cause we all know it goes to greece as usual anw enough with the maltese entry cause im sure it wont qualify

Euro Breeze [12637]
Tue 24 Apr 2007 14:17:45

This voting is INACURATE. Scroll down to read my previous messages so don't get disappointed that Cypriots didn't vote for Malta etc etc. I am 100% sure that the results of the voting were made up and that they represent the opinion of maximum 2 persons and not all the OGAE Cyprus members!!!

I cant understand why Maltese behave with that way.. Cypriots vote for songs they like.. We dont vote for songs because the country is friend of us.. I think maltese whould understand that when we wanna vote them we vote them as we can because we have also many people from esc countries here.. ( dont tell me anything for Greece because i wil become upset.. cyprus is greek understand it )

anyway i like maltese song and i will vote it.. Good luck Olivia. Hope you get points from Cyprus

I don't see how the opera song from Slovenia could win...on the other hand...you have to come up with something really different nowdays to win this contest...so that means...Slovenia is having a chance??? mwoa mwoa mwoa...

@Let there be hope:
..but i suppose you know very well that on the actual contest, on this big night ;-), cyprus will definetely award its 12 points to Sarbel and Greece..no doubt about it.....and the results of these OGAE votings are really strange somehow, but funny
