Dutch media tip Russia for the victory
When the individual votes were added up, the song Song #1 by Serebro from Russia turned out to be the favourite amongst the Dutch media representatives. Here is the top 20 of the voting:

The only reason you cannot see what the fuss is about in the Cyprus song is because you weren't born in the 80's. You are far too young to be able to appreciate it.

SERBIA (which will be 1st or 2ns) and SWEDEN (alas this song will not place well

There isn't a great amount of hope for the former soviet states this year IMO. The best song is by far the Russian one. If serebro can sing well live then they might have it in the bag.
Until then however... GO SWEDEN!!!
I am sure Cyprus will not be in final. It's not good song. It's one of the most boring. Only countries which speaks french and greece will get to cyprus points. WHAT A FUSS ABOUT?! :/

Bulgaria is a very good entry, one of the best entries of this year and a possible winning song also...Hungary, i think, is the one that we all should forget seeing it in the finals...
And for Russia, forget it, this will be the bigest disaster from all, these three girlies won't be able to present any song live....

Russian songs are always so commercial and always in English ,they sound like they could easily be on any chart in Britain. I wouldn't be surprised if they win this year.

You're the only big upset on the night.
One song every one is writing off or forgetting about........Ireland. something tells me this is going to cause a big upset on the night. I can guarantee a top 10 place for it. It may just cause the biggest upset in eurovision history. Now that eurovision is really kicking in ..only 2 weeks to semi.... the media going to be at hte press conferences etc and Ireland always attracts alot of media attention when it comes to eurovision, and before people start with their anti irish song bashing just think about it...... to much hype over some songs. all thses polls on here are based a tiny tiny section of the entire esc audience. And all this ogae stuff...well its 90% gay members so of course they gonna vote for the kitsch camp entries and the silly euro pop ones. Ireland has a serious well put together mature entry and this will get it points and dare I say it I reckon alot of points from Eastern bloc countries. We wil wait and see but I know its going to be the surprise of the night....nad cold even defy all the odds and clinch the top place.
I think Russia has produced a very stylish pop song - great video, good beat...one problem though! Manufactured songs like this very rarely are able to be reproduced live. Unless these girls have fantastic live voices, I dont see this song doing all that well. (Think Selma and Katie Ryan).
DJ Bobo, although more experienced with live shows, may suffer a similar fate...

Personally I like just few songs of him but I like his personality. He is such a nice and amusing person really.
