Hi from ESC city Helsinki... I know politics should keep away from ESC but the right now everybody here talking how Russia is pushing their little neighbour Estonia. Check your out Russia, an European nation doesn't behave like that.

il n'y a plus aucun article sur la france depuis ce site, qui par ailleur n'hesite pas a detruire les francais. tout comme les utilisateurs. il y avait pourtant un regain d'interet de la france pour l'eurovision.... c'est dommage...

@TP
i would like to inform you that Sarbel was already a professional opera singer at 15 and he got various engagements until he was 18 in the Royal Opera of London..there is also some recordings of this opera featuring him, one is Tosca...in London, the city in which he grew up he was constantly taking singing lessons since he was 4!!! so before you speak, try to get informed...and yes Sarbel can sing, can dance and can get the audience excited in his own style, neither like Sakis did and does nor like any latino pop king like Ricky Martin....the preselection in Greece was really one of his worst appearances ever, due to technical problems, that was the case for all 3 contestants of the greek preselection night...so if this live appearance was his worst, now you can imagine what his best is gonna lo like.....Sarbel is going to entertain us all, even if he gets disapointing results, it is one of the very few men performers of this years contest...so stop moaning about him

T P.

You should not judge the Greek National Final for anything considering Live. It was plagued with Audio Problems by all 3 artists thanks to the cheapness of ERT making the singers be accountable for their own audio team.

Sarbels Mic. came loose a couple of times during the performance, cutting him out.

Hey editors!

This is the 2007 Eurovision Song Contest, not the 207 Eurovision Song Contest.

Good results overall here (Sweden last, Malta did not qualify...).

As for Greece,...

> Sarbel is a young, attractive and good
> singer who can move and deliver a nice 3
> minute show

He can't sing live! Didn't you see the Greek final?

> Wow! Poland have 1 point

Not a suprise. Sasha (the female singer) comes from Saint Petersburg.

> I just hate Russian televoting every simple
> year !

Do you mean you dislike Yana Churikova? Hard to believe. :) :) :) :) :)

I actually like the Russian song this year. Its one of my top now. But it will all come down if they can sing it LIVE well.

So Switzerland still in the leading position? But one of the greatest secrets isn't disclosed yet: Who is the female voice in Vampires Are Alive?
It really sounds a bit like Sandra IMO...

as for your discussions: I also think Ireland will do better than in the polls and what I'm not so sure about that Sweden will do bad. The Worrying Kind is one of the best songs this year, it's innovative and old-fashioned at the same time. And Ola has something on him - hate him or love him - at least you remember him!
Which is not the case with the Greek entry...

Wow! Poland have 1 point :) hehe
i thik so we can go to final if we change show :P BTW Thanks Russia for points to Poland :)
I still believe so we can winner on this year :) hehe
Greetings from Poland,
P.S. My points:
the Best:
12 - Georgia
10 - Ukraine
8 - Israel
The Worst:
12 - maceodnia (grrr, I hate this song!)
10 - belarus (grr too :P)
8 - Switzerland (It's big mistake!)

Verka Tymoshenko [40502]
Wed 25 Apr 2007 20:11:26

@ Roman

i agree with you. 12 from Belarus and Russia are flying to Ukraine, it's undirectly a neighbourly voting, since Verka is as famous there as in her own country. I think we can expect 12 from Poland too, due to the fame Verka has there as well...

I think the 12 points from Ukraine will go to Belarus. It's the neighbour that has the best 'mainstream' song. Russia will always get points (except if they do a lamentable performance), so will Poland, Georgia, Moldova... this happens for every country anyway.

Yet i'm very surprised Ukraine never gave points to Greece. I mean, these are not songs i personally like, but they are aimed at a 'mainstream' audience and i don't think ukrainian tastes were that particular that we wouldn't like such entries... i still have things to discover about my own country :)

Daniella.

Maybe you`ll have something but not much... 1-2-3 no more... the same we`ll have from you.

Michael

As for me i loathe Verka. She is horrible. It`s a shame for me than such *** will represent my country. But Russia will give to us good points Verka won because of russian diaspora in Ukraine and we have some people which like such sh*t.

But Ukraine will score very good. Maybe top5 or even top3.

@ David P. - why do they have to be top 5 ? I can say it again and I am thankfully not the only one saying so : the song is bad, the Ola singer irritating.

About Sarbel : I don`t think he`ll win, that`s too much of a Martin/Sakis copy with a touch of swedish Paparizou sond. Fans love it, so no wonder its doing well in the polls.Televoters usually vote for original, new stuff.
