Kate Ryan's new video clip

esctoday.com's partner website, www.belgovision.com has reported that Voyage Voyage, a cover of the Desireless hit, was released in Belgium last Friday and a European release can be expected by September. In Belgium, the single also contains the song We All Belong, the official anthem of the EuroGames 2007. The European sports event for gays and lesbians kicks off in Antwerp tonight with an opening ceremony and a parade of more than 3.000 athletes. The Belgian Eurovision Song Contest representative of 2006 is one of the performers at tonight's spectacle.

This another proof that Belgium was robbed last year... Kate Ryan is amazing and "JE T'ADORE" was one of the strongest songs in the contest in the last few years. She should have won last year, she is a great artist, and a very sexy woman either.

She can't beat the original version, sorry Kate.
Maybe Desireless was not that goodlooking, but she was a better singer. Kate's voice is hardly noticeable in the heavy arrangement.

Yes, her vocal performance was weak, I was quite disappointed but nevertheless, she should have qualified to the final, no doubt in that!

I guess it won't become a huge hit. If you look at the chart performances of her last songs outside Belgium it seems that Kte Ryan's great time is over...And that's good!!! I really don't understand why everybody was so surprised that she didn't pass the Semi in 2006. Her vocal performance was too weak.

The song itself is so lame. And she makes it even worse.

2006 ESC Song was great with a live performance though that was a bit like Cyprus 2007...not so good with vocals going WRONG ....she is blonde and pretty which is in itself not enough.
Desireless is much better version.

"Voyage, voyage" is a classical song in all Europe.

But Belgium belongs to a voting block. The only problem is that the Central European voting block generously awards points (Turkey, Greece, Armenia, Portugal, the Balkans ...) but hardly ever receives a single point from its beneficiaries. It's a rather one-way love affair ...
Although her parents are Dutch, she herself is very Flemish. She is not even popular in the Netherlands, (unlike for example Belle Perez.)
And I agree about the mediocrety of her songs. It all sounds a bit cheap and corny. She is a very nice girl, but a very weak performer.
I prefer the Desireless version
