Previous single broke a record
Watch Dana International's new video
The video of Dana International's single, "Lola", was released today by her record label, Hed Arzi. This video will be included as a bonus track in the 1998 Eurovision winner's upcoming album, scheduled for release on August 17th. Click here to watch the video, from her official website.
It has also been announced that Dana International's previous single, "Love boy", broke a decade's record in Israel, the one for the most airplays per month. During July 2007, "Love boy" was played 1,426 times on various radio stations in Israel (approx. 50 times per day in average). These figures are truly astonishing, even when comparing to the record holder of the previous month, a song by Sarit Hadad (Israel 2002), which gained only about 600 airplays, during June 2007. These figuers demonstare the complete and grand comeback of Dana International to the limelight in Israel, for the first time since winning the 1998 Eurovision Song Contest with "Diva".

I love Dana. May be any of you can help me.
I saw her video FREE where she is dressed beautifull and has lot of singers around but I can't find it anywhere. I just find the video where she is dressed very tight. Please, can you help me?
Yardena Arazi (Israel 1988) has also recently released a great remix of her Kdam Eurovision entry from 1985. The song is called "Od Nagiya" ("We'll Get There" 
, with lyrics by Ehud Manor zichrono livracha (who also wrote Abanibi - 1978 ESC Winner), and music composed by Avi Toledano (who represented Israel in 1982). The original arrangement was by Eldad Shrem. "Od Nagiya" came in 3rd place in the Kdam behind Yizhar Cohen's "Oleh, Oleh".

Dana's song Lola, apparantly is a cover of the Kinks song of the same name, but in another language, and to another melody. The song details an encounter between a naive young man and another man dressing as a woman and passing as "Lola" in a Soho club.

I thought that Dana won't come back!
In did, Lola is a video-clip and song made in 2005. but officialy relised to the Radio and tv only now. it was playing in the internet for 2 years.
the real fact behind this clip is that it was suposed to be huge hit 2 years ago during a world promotion to WELLA company comercial for a line of new hair products by the name "Lola". Dana was chosen to be the presentor and the face for this products due to her diffrent and uniqe life style. the company looked over thoudsands of nominades for the special personality who will carry the flag and Dana was chosen to the project.
somewhere in the midlle of preparations to the world campaigen the company annoanced that they are not going to relise to the markets this products and that the manifacturing of it will wait for the future.
this is how Dana was left with the Video and song in her hands without finding any propriate thing to do with it. so she relised it to the internet until she will put it in her new cd album.

Israel is going to send this year one of the 3 first places winners of the Israeli version of "pop idol" (Kohav Nolad 5)

This video is not new. It was produced and released in 2005 to co-incide with some hair product campaign Dana was fronting. The video is even on Youtube, posted December 23, 2005: http://youtube.com/watch?v=yNQZvEuE-AU
So the article should really say the video has been re-released...I guess to capitalise on her recent success.

Israel could send her next year to ESC for a second time, that'd be nice...
why she failed to capitalise on her win with Diva was a real mystery. Her 1998 Israeli Greatest Hits was full of potential singles but for one reason or another she never followed through after Diva.
