English version of Serbian national final song
Kylie records Romale Romali!
Kylie says that the chorus of her song will probably be on the lines of Power You Power Me, and that she has given the song 'a new outfit'. The song was originally performed by Ana Nikolić, and the 39-year-old singer hopes to select it as one of 14 out of a possible 46 songs for her new album, to be released before the end of this year.
Last year, due to a controversy over voting, Serbia and Montenegro did not send any representative to the Eurovision Song Contest in Athens, although Romale Romali could often be heard in the Euroclub.
Montenegro declared independence the day after the Eurovision Song Contest 2006, and both sent separate entries this year, with Serbia winning.

gosh I love Romale Romali , I don't fancy Kylie though , don't think her version will be As awesome As Ana's
I heard that the Turkish singer Emre Altug already made a version of Romale Romali. I'd love to hear it so if anyone knows the name, plz let me know!

I remember that very clearly too lolz! When Serbia voted in Athens the reader said 'unfortunately Serbia couldn't participate this year, but next yearwe will send the best song!'
@ dennis k surely you cant compare dannii and kylie as kylie can actually sing live very well, dannii mimed during her stage show notre dame de paris, she hasnt got a good live voice

We want to have more french visitors, there are already some thousends of dutch and germans who have discovered our home as a place to relax in. Becous Östersund (the enviromental "CAPITAL" of Sweden) is a modern city like any other in the west. And with nearly 200 km to it's closest neighbour, it's an oas in a beutiful green or white landskape (depends on wich time you visit) with the two biggest waterfalls in Sweden, deep forests and mountanis that looks like huge hills where the town of Åre is lokaded. And Åre turns into the most prestigious ski resort in Sweden on the winter! And was the host of the "alpine world cup 2007"
Östersund is host of the "biathlon world cup in 2008", so that's a good time to visit us!
And of course I hope the city will build an big indoor-arena in a near future so we can at least host the MF! The region is one of the most developing regions in Sweden for the moment, so I hope my dreams will come true!

Ah, I heard this news already.
Romale Romali has a good rhythm, it's up tempo song...I think it would be perfect for Kylie, she'll make it even better.
And Romale Romali would never become popular if not sung in english, by well known singer.
And yeah..Kylie is great!

hahaha, i would never have thought that a singer from here would choose a song from an ESC NF, its jus random. i really like the serbian version of Romale Romali, would be interesting to hear Kylies version. i still prefer her sister as a singer tho

I liked her better before "all the scandals". But I guess, it's a good sign for a song if a wellknown singer like her records it.
