Former Eurovision artist

Alla Pugachova helped in hostages rescue

According to the Gazeta newspaper, the popular Russian singer Alla Pugachova helped a lot at the special squad during the hostages rescue operation in the Nord-Ost theatre centre.
On Friday morning, Pugocheva came to Dubrovka street. Everyone thought that she came for leading the negotiations with the terrorists, but in fact, the aim of her visit was to bring the floor-plan of the theatre and the detailed map of the night club, that was situated in that theatre centre, to the Alfa special squad officers. The singer might have taken the drafts, used for the assault, from her son-in-law Ruslan Baisarov. The latest had financed the night club in question, where for several months there were reparation works. Baraevs terrorists worked on the site and had a possibility to keep explosives and arms in storage in the building basement. Authorities have no claims to Ruslan Baisarov, he could not have information about workers employed by his contractors. Alla Pugachova represented Russian in the Eurovision Song Contest 1997 with Primadonna.
