Dulce Pontes in concert in Spain!
Dulce will be promoting and presenting her latest work " The heart has three doors" on Spanish soil. She will be performing at the Palacio de Festivales de Cantabria in Santander.
Dulce released her latest album 'O Coracao Tem Tres Portas" back in 2006.Dulce Pontes is a well known and appreciated singer among fado fans. She represented her native country, Portugal, at the 1991 Eurovision Song Contest in Rome with her song " Lusitana Paixao" which placed 8th. Dulce is today one of the most established and well known Portuguese singers both on homeground and abroad enjoying fame and success.

No. More likely to be in Upper Volta than Rome.
She is great. She performed last year in Salamanca, but the funny thing is that I saw two old British poeple walk past a poster of her concert in Salamanca and say "You know, that face is So Spanish. She could only BE Spanish". I laughed about that for months and I am still laughing now.
I don't think so.
Glad to hear that Dulce is still going strong. To my mind, she had Portugal's best-ever entry in 1991 - "Fado" was just great.
