Third time lucky?
Olia Tira enters for Moldova
The German born artist submitted entries for the Moldovan selection in 2006 and 2007. She was one of the three acts that passed to the last selection phase for 2007 with the song Your place or mine' finishing in third place behind winner, Natalia Barbu, and 2005 Eurovision Song contest entrants, Zdob si Zdub. She has high hopes for winning her adopted country's ticket to Belgade this time around.
Earlier this year, Olia put out a request to song writers and composers for concepts or songs that could go forward as a Eurovision Song Contest bid. Her entry for the 2008 selection process is now available, along with her 2007 entry on the official Olia Tira myspace page. You can visit it by clicking here.

The chorus is just noise.
Plus her diction is TERRIBLE!
I hope it's not picked to represent Moldova. I haven't liked any of their songs yet!
That is surprising, I have listened to a song once and have told, no, it is not so good song. Has listened to five times and has told, this that that is necessary! Forward Olia, at you an excellent song and you are beautiful! I vote for you! Good luck!
I don't like this.
Is this what they call pop in Moldova? Anyway, a singer who wants to compete in the national seletion a third time in a row seems rather desperate.
The worst thing about the video above is not the song but the horrible cheap background graphics. Even most music videos from the 80s have more quality.
I like Olia but I fear she won`t do well ! On the other hand, a good show/performance can work pretty well. I somehow hope for Alternosfera with some energetic stuff. That could work very well....but we must wait till all songs & participants are known. Maybe Olia is the best choice then, maybe she isn`t - we´ll see.
I didn't like Moldova this year... there were much better songs in semi final i was shocked when she enter final. OMG her English is soooooo terrible...
My favorite Moldovan entry is Zdob si Zdub in 2005. Anyway I wish you good luck in Belgrade.
Nothing special... Better luck next year
Yes!
Natalia was much better.
But still, I like this song.
We will see.
BELOW AVERAGE IN MY OPINION.
You are right! No hook, and does not compare to Natalia's entry.
I think Olias song last year was better than "Always will be". I think it lacks an hook and is modern but average.
her 2007 entry was better than this, sorry
Her next song (Always will be) it is good but too avarage.....
Anyway I hope Moldova will send a good song to ESC....
Fight was so much better, sorry. I was expecting something more refined from this artist. It takes too long to come to the point, and rather predictable.
This song is really great
Good luck Olia
Good luck to Olia... with a good song i hope this time
