Melodifestivalen: 28 first artists announced next week

The announcement of the artists participating in the first and second Melodifestivalen semi finals to be held in Göteborg and Västerås will begin on Monday 10th December at 10.00 CET. The Linköping and Karlskrona participants will be announced on Tuesday 11th December at the same time during a second press conference at the SVT headquarters in Stockholm also at 10am CET.

Monday 10 December from 10.00 to 11.30 CET will see the announcement of the artists participating in the first and second Melodifestivalen semi finals to be held in Göteborg and Västerås. The Linköping and Karlskrona participants will be announced on Tuesday 11 December at the same time during a second press conference at the SVT headquarters in Stockholm. The names of the much awaited wildcards will be announced in January.

The following songs will be competing  for the chance to represent Sweden at the 2008 Eurovision Song Contest:
