No, I mean 2007!
I agree, the 2006 song was good!
@ Little Imp
Of course...
First of all, things have changed a lot... when Belarus started in 2004, the voting procedure was a bit biased but not at all as ridiculous as it is now... In 2004, f. ex. Germany's Max, Cyprus' Lisa or Sweden's Lena made it to the top10...
In the following, Belarus sent Angelica Agurbash and Polina Smolova - the one ruined everything with a terrible performance, the other one had a strange song...
Both of them bad enough not to reach the final in any case - whether they have started for Belarus, Macedonia or Turkey...
Concerning this year: If Dima Koldun has started for Portugal, he wouldn't have reached the final - and everybody would have written "oh, yes, that's clear, his performance was totally c***, Western countries are always complaining about that they're not doing well but they never are sending good entries, etc. etc."
@ Max Raspail:
You should think before you write. It's the first time Belarus made it to the final. So it is not as easy to simply say "It's Belarus". If you have said it's Kirkorov and a singer rather well known in Russia (the Russian Idols Show) then maybe... but not "it's Belarus".
Hm, it seems as if there are millions of guest stars - how long will the show last?
This year's entry was horrible - one of the worst performances of Eurovision. I couldn't stand this guy and especially his singing... The magic of this song and this singer should have been reworked completely...
I'm not wondering why this terrible entry scored so high - it came from Belarus...
I hope in a good entry like "Work you magic"... this year Belarus had a great song!
@ Daniel - No rules were changed " at the last minute " to select " Work your magic " this year - not a single one. It only happened one time, when Mrs. Angelica decided to change her song because of some fan polls.
Anita Tsoy: now there is a name everyone needs to remember. Anita entered the 2005 Russian NF, and I hope she enters this years Russian NF. She would the perfect choice for Russia.
I think we're all already used to Belarus and their corrupt National Finals. I just hope the final song is as good this year's eventual entry.
Daniel Griffiths 12 points!!!!
Hayko or Andre?
Why do Belarus even bother holding NF's? They always change the rules at the last minute to favour a certain singer anyway!
