Song 'highly likely' to be thrown out
Exclusive: I love the girls is under discussion
esctoday.com has been informed that TRM, the national broadcaster of Moldova, are aware of the content of the song, but the decision to disqualify the entry must be taken by the jury and not the broadcaster according to the rules of the competition. The jury are almost certain to dismiss the song from the selection process based on the controversial content of the song.
The rules of the competition mean that all songs submitted are placed on the internet by TRM for fans to hear prior to a jury selecting the finalists. The jury will then select the finalists from teh submitted entries. Only if the song is passed by the jury would TRM have the opportunity to disqualify the song, however it is highly unlikely that the song would be selected as a finalist due to the lyrics. esctoday.com will monitor this story closely!

i thought i was haring things when i first heard this song.

I honestly think this guy was trying to make a statement, and it came out badly. I meran, he's not that stupid to think this would get anywhere, he just wanted to shock people... (maybe even raise public awareness).....

Oh come on people, this guy is just looking for attention, and will say anything to get his name thrown around. Anybody writting such thing is obviously trying to make a statement (maybe trying to show how perverted people can be, and the measage is being misunderstood in the song).
ANYWAYS, the song is just irritating crap, regardless of what he's trying to do.

Horrific song and tasteless theme... "I love the girls of 13 years old" - dreadful and does nothing to enhance the reputation of Moldova.
If this was a serious singer and song, I would be outraged. But I think it is just a comedic type act, maybe like Borat, or the guy dresses up as a school kid and sings the song, who knows? Anyways I don't understand most of what he is singing about, the voice is silly, not serious at all. My opinion! 
What's worrying is that someone/people from TRM actually allowed this to go on the short list in the first place. The song is rubbish anyway, but was it really one of the top 27 received? And did no-one think to question the lyrics before putting it in the public domain? Not exactly a responsible broadcaster is it...?
A pedophile is someone who likes children which aren't in their puberty yet, so strictly speaking this isn't pedophile. But it is sick anyway. And even stranger, when I do a Google search on this Alexandru Bognudov I only find a couple results that have to do with this song. I wonder if he is a real person or just made up for this song.

In Europe this song seems only legal in Spain where the age of consent is 13 and the Netherlands where the age of consent is 16 but when a person is between 12 and 16 teh gap may not be bigger than 4 years. So if he is 17 it is tolerated in the Netherlands.
I'm glad they published the song! It shames the composer and I hope the police authorities investigate him!
