Special - The Tom Boxer interview | Eurovision Song Contest News - 2009 Moscow, Russia 

Tom Boxer , Anca Parghel and Fly Project have already decided to participate to bid for the Romanian national final 2008 that will take place on the 27th of February. The song will be called “Brasil” and it is a house-pop song with jazz and Brasilian influences.

First of all, tell us something about your life, your music career and your collaboration with Anca Parghel and Fly Project.
About my life: I love music, film and photography. That's what keeps me occupied all the time. I have 2 successful music projects with Anca Parghel and  Dream City with Mike Diamondz. I love God and my Universe and I am showing that in my music, videos and photos.

You are a Dj, a composer and a film producer. How did the idea of running for the Eurovision Song Contest come up?

I love ART. Art is love in all forms. Once upon a time I had made a nice song. Anca loved the song and sung something like "O monod sorrendo, O voce balanco..." . Next day Tudor (Fly Project) heard that song in my car and penned the chorus on the spot "I like the way you move...". The song
was finished in  2 days. Like it was allready done by God. Our music label -Roton- staff came with the idea to submit that song for the  Eurovision Song Contest because it is a very original project and will be an unique representation in the contest's history.

 The song is called Brasil and it's in Portugese, English and Jamaican. Why did you choose a song in these languages?

I did not choose the languages. They chose us.

If you pass the preselection, have you thought of  some kind of stage  performance? any gimmicks?

I am sure we will pass the preselection. And the stage will be filled up by our energy and Fly Project dancers.

What will you do if you win the Romanian national final? What are your next steps?

If we win the Romanian final the next step is to win the Eurovision Song Contest. The song has a great deep and pure love message. Also  great vocal line and energy. People will feel that.I will also want to add that The video of the song Brasil will be shot in Brasil - Rio de Janeiro in about 3 weeks. Will be a very nice and happy video.
